Week 1 Denmark
Days 1-3: Copenhagen
Your private guide will collect you from your Copenhagen accommodation or, if more convenient, the airport.
You’ll spend 3 days enjoying a guided tour of the best attractions in the Danish capital. Visit royal sites like Amalienborg Palace and Rosenberg Castle, where you can see the Crown Jewels. Visit cultural highlights such as the Designmuseum Denmark and the National Museum. Finish your time with a scenic boat cruise through the network of canals from Nyhavn. And visit one of the oldest amusement parks in the world, Tivoli Gardens.
Days 4-5: Odense & Aarhus
Explore the old town of Odense and visit the Hans Christian Andersen Museum in Odense, learning about the life and inspiration of the legendary author.
Take a day trip to Aarhus, where you can explore the vibrant Latin Quarter, before guided tours of the ARoS Art Museum and Den Gamble By, the famous old town with cobbled streets and half-timbered houses.
Days 6-7: Aalborg
For the following 2 days, you’ll be based in the dynamic city of Aalborg. Explore the Utzon Centre, a famous landmark dedicated to Jørn Utzon, the Danish architect who designed the Sydney Opera House. Following that, enjoy guided tours of the Kuinsten Museum of Modern Art before a luxurious waterfront dinner.

Week 2 – Norway
Days 8-9: Oslo

Day 14: Geiranger
Day 14 offers another scenic drive through Norway’s dramatic highlands to the picturesque village of Geiranger, a gateway to one of the country’s most iconic fjords. Experience a luxury cruise along the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord, gliding past legendary landmarks such as the Seven Sisters, the Suitor, and the ethereal Bridal Veil.
Week 3 – Norway and Sweden
Day 15: Lillehammer
On day 15, your destination is the scenic town of Lillehammer. Break up the drive with a stop in Lom village, where you can enjoy a coffee break and visit the Lom Stave Church, one of the finest medieval churches in Norway. In Lillehammer, you’ll begin with a guided tour of Maihaugen Open-Air Museum, Lysgårdsbakkene Ski Jump & Olympic Park, the venue of the 1994 Winter Olympics.
Day 16: Sundsvall
Cross the Swedish border and stop in the historic city of Uppsala. Enjoy a guided tour of Uppsala Cathedral, the tallest church in Scandinavia. Continue to Gamla Uppsala and see the royal burial mounds, believed to be the resting place of Viking kings.
Continue onto Sundsvall, known as the “stone city,” with your private guide leading you on a walking tour through the district of stone buildings. Finish the day with a tour of the Norra Berget Park, where you can enjoy open-air museum exhibits and panoramic views of Sundsvall and the coast.
Day 17: Kiruna
On day 17, your private guide will take you deep into Swedish Lapland on a journey from Sundsvall to Kiruna, on the edge of the Arctic Circle. Visit the famous nearby Icehotel, built entirely of ice and snow and maintained as an ice art gallery during the summer months. See the frozen suites, and relax in the ice bar where your guide shares the story behind this unique building.
Finish the day at a local reindeer farm, where you can meet and feed the reindeer. Learn more about the reindeer lifecycle and their relationship with the Sámi people.
Days 18 & 19: Abisko
Spend the next two days in Abisko, visiting the Abikso National Park, one the best places to see the Northern Lights. Your guide will take you to the Aurora Sky Station, where you’ll travel by cable car to the summit platform for unobstructed views of the sky in an attempt to catch a glimpse of the magnificent aurora.
One of the highlights of your time here is taking part in husky sledding. Meet the enthusiastic huskies and ride as a passenger on a sled, or take the reins yourself!
Enjoy a guided hike through forests before finishing with a scenic cable car ride over Torneträsk Lake.
Day 20 & 21: Luleå
Head south out of Lapland to the coastal city of Luleå, on the shores of the Gulf of Bothnia. Begin with a guided tour of Gammelstad Church Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring over 400 wooden cottages that surround the 15th-century Nederluleå Church. Walk through the cobbled lanes while your guide shares stories of religious life and how church towns helped shape Swedish rural culture.
Take a guided walk through the center of Luleå. Walk through Luleå Cathedral and visit local art galleries and local craft studios for handmade textiles and antler crafts.
Day 21 finishes with an overnight ferry to Helsinki. Settle into your private sea-view cabin and enjoy tranquil views of the archipelago. If you would rather fly, you can take a short evening flight from Luleå to Helsinki instead.
Days 22 – 24: Helsinki
You’ll wake up in Helsinki with three days to explore the Finnish capital. Begin at the Helsinki Cathedral, an iconic landmark featuring distinctive neoclassical architecture. Explore the beautiful cathedral and surrounding Senate Square with your private guide. Next is the Market Square, where you can pick up local delicacies like cloudberry jam and handmade crafts and enjoy a walk by the surrounding harbor.
Take a short ferry for a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site, Suomenlinna Sea Fortress. This fortress is spread across six linked islands, where you can explore historic buildings, tunnels, and museums.
On day 23, take a day trip to Porvoo, Finland’s second-oldest town. Start with a walking tour of the old town with your private guide through narrow alleys, visiting artisan boutiques, antique shops, and cozy cafes. Visit the town’s most iconic landmark, Porvoo Cathedral, a medieval stone church with sweeping views over the river.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Runeberg House Museum, once the home of Finland’s national poet, Johan Ludvig Runeberg. Your guide will share how his work has shaped the Finnish identity while you explore the home, which has remained largely unchanged since the 19th century. After visiting the museum, head to a local cafe to try the “Runeberg torte,” a pastry named after Runeberg, as it is said to have been created by his wife.
Finish at the banks of the Porvoonjoki River for the town’s most iconic view of the red-painted riverside warehouses, which remain a beloved national symbol.
Day 24 is your final day in Helsinki before boarding the overnight ferry to Stockholm that evening. Start your final day at the Seurasaari Open-Air Museum, an island museum showcasing rural Finnish life from the past 400 years. Your private guide will take you back to central Helsinki to visit the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, designed by renowned American architect Steven Holl. Discover some of Finland’s finest contemporary art, featuring performance art, provocative photography, and interactive experiences.

After lunch, shop for some last-minute souvenirs before your guide drops you off on the overnight ferry to Stockholm. Days 24 & 25: Stockholm
The following three days will be spent in Stockholm, exploring the city’s top attractions.
Explore Gamla Stan, the enchanting old town of the city, with medieval streets and unique shops and cafes. Witness the Changing of the Guard at the Royal Palace, followed by a guided tour of the Palace itself, which includes walking through the royal apartments and viewing the Crown Jewels in the treasury. Finish in the old town with a tour of the Nobel Prize Museum, dedicated to the greatest minds in history.
A trip to Stockholm wouldn’t be the same without a cruise across the Stockholm archipelago. Enjoy breathtaking views, swim in the sea, and explore idyllic islands like Grinda and Vaxholm.
Day 26: Stockholm & Gränna
Spend a day on Djurgårdens Island, a beautiful green space home to some of Stockholm’s best museums. Enjoy guided tours of:
ABBA Museum – Dedicated to the iconic pop band featuring interactive exhibits
Vasa Museum – Features a preserved 17th-century ship that sank on its maiden voyage.
Skansen Museum – An open-air museum with a recreated 19th-century Swedish village, giving you a unique sense of what life was like in Sweden’s past.
You’ll finish day 26, departing Stockholm for Gränna, where you’ll spend an evening in the picturesque town on the shores of Lake Vättern.
Day 27: Malmö
You’ll depart Gränna early in the morning with your private guide to start the journey to Malmö. Your guide can break up the drive with stops for coffee or a chance to stretch your legs. Arrive in Malmö in the afternoon and start with a tour of Malmöhus Castle, Scandinavia’s oldest surviving Renaissance fortress. The castle features three museums, with your private guide leading you through the best attractions at the Malmö Art Museum, Natural History Museum, and Malmö City Museum.
Next is a trip to Stortoget, the grand central square in Malmö, where you can admire the square sitting at one of the outdoor cafes or wine bars. Your guide will take you to Strøget, one of Europe’s longest pedestrian shopping streets. The street features a range of exciting shops for you to explore, from luxury brands to Danish boutiques.
